My  Story
 

Hello and welcome to my page. I am Megan Cordina and my passion is wellness. As an ambassador for health & well-being my ambition is to help you achieve & surpass your goals.

Health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being. True health is the balance of body, mind & soul. As a behavioural therapist, fitness instructor & wellness coach I provide the foundation for holistic change.

​

We all have our own journey. No two people are alike. Our differences are what make us unique & exceptional. Your journey should also be individualised to align with your goals.

​

The studio has been designed to ignite all your senses and encourage you to forget everything in the outside world. It's your time to focus on you and be in the moment. 

 

Predominately a Pilates studio, we offer Reformer Pilates, Wunda Chair Pilates and Mat Pilates. We pride ourselves in teaching you the correct method and techniques required to execute the traditional pilates exercises by offering group sessions of no greater than 4 participants. Private sessions (1:1) and semi private (2:1) sessions are also available by appointment.

 

I offer classes for fitness, strength and conditioning, rehabilitation as well as prenatal and postnatal.

 

MY MISSION

To make pilates affordable for everyone. You may notice my prices are significantly lower than most. This is not a tactic to draw you in. This is the business model I have adopted. Too many people have been unable to try Reformer or Wunda Pilates due to the exorbitant costs. I want more people to be able to experience the benefits of pilates and fall in love with the journey.

Megan is the owner and principal instructor at Megan Cordina Wellness.

 

Her passion for all things movement started at the young age of 4 whereby she started her dance journey through the CSTD.

 

She completed VCE dance and was recognised as a Top 10 achiever in Australia.

 

Megan went on to attain a Bachelor of Behavioural Science and completed her fourth year with the focus on developmental psychology. 

 

To balance the challenges of being a young mother and child psychologist, Megan decided to obtain her Certificate 3 & 4 in fitness and Zumba qualifictaions as a way to have her own 'therapy' and have the opportunity to dance .

Since then she has obtained many other qualifications including The Jungle Body, Metafit, MetaPWR, LRF Dance Xtreme and Aqua to name a few. 

​

In 2017 Megan slipped two discs and had one bulging disc in her lower back. This affected her ability to be able to do the most mundane tasks let alone continue her regular fitness regime. It was at this point she was referred by health professionals to incorporate Reformer Pilates as part of her rehabilitation. AND it was then that her love and passion for this form of exercise was born!

Megan completed a 12 month course alongside other allied health professionals and continues to educate her self in courses and workshops frequently. 

​

Megan is passionate about helping others achieve their goals - Body, Mind & Spirit. She achieves this by combining her background in psychology with her knowledge in nutrition and fitness.
